~ Baby on a Swing ~

Baby on a swing portraits are achieved by compositing two (sometimes more) images together. Baby was on a safe level, with a spotter nearby for added safety. In my studio, baby's safety is top priority, always.

~ New York Workshop ~

This was shot at my New York workshop where studio is obviously not my studio, hence the light is different. But because I use the same colour tones as I use in my studio, the resulting image is consistent to the images I take back inAustralia. Consistency is key in establishing your style and brand.

~lack of natural light~

The biggest dilemma with natural light is how sunlight varies depending on the season, location, time of day and weather. This was shot on a particularly dark day, there was no sun and the clouds were dark. It seemed like 5pm in the studio. I have to crank my ISO to 1250 which was way higher than my normal 200-400.

9 month old Hunter

Meet Hunter.

Oh my goodness! Handsome, gorgeous, model, I want to keep him...there are the words that  came to mind the moment i laid eyes on Hunter. He has that 'model look' you can spot a mile away and he did not disappoint :)

5 week old Gemma

Meet Gemma.

Born 4 weeks early, she was very little when she came to see me. With her beautiful skin and exotic beauty, she sure is going to break a lot of hearts when she grows up. She rocked the delphinium flower set up below, one of my favourite images of all time and has been nominated in the International Newborn Contest.

6 month old Hudson

Meet Hudson.

This handsome little man was an absolute joy to photograph! I can't help but smile every time he pulls that oh so serious puppy face! He surely can get away with anything with that look!  I was drawn to his stunning blue eyes and his smiles (although rare during our session) was a delight to see and capture.

Baby Mini Session

Photographing 6 gorgeous babies in one day is hard work but definitely one of the most fun, exciting and rewarding sessions I have done. Loved capturing their individual personalities and fun expressions!

6 month old Harlow

Meet Harlow.

Oh she stole my heart with her adorable rolls, infectious smile and overall cuteness! Her session was the easiest & shortest session I had. She performed so well like she was born to model! I wanted to keep her, she is perfection!
