2 DAY NEWBORN + BABY WORKSHOP - COLOUR & STYLE WITH CONFIDENCE INVITATION
Colour is embraced in Kath’s V’s Photography. It is an extension of her brand, style, passion, and baby’s personality
During the workshop, we will explore the endless possibility that colour brings to imagery. Kath will share her experience in balancing imagination and colour to invigorate the finished product, whilst complementing baby’s natural beauty.
Developing confidence and guiding your personal style to a new discovery through colour, is the main focus. Discussion will also include smart prop investment and selection, session theming, balancing baby’s features, composition, understanding light and refined editing techniques.
Kath will draw upon inspirational imagery to illustrate the endless possibilities that colours, props and styling can bring to liberate your personal brand and style. Once taught, blending design elements is effortless and instantly becomes a valuable and versatile asset to your business.
You will leave the workshop with a renewed sense of colour and feel confident in embracing it in your photography, to resonate your personal unique style and create an exclusive fine art products.

Who:
Open to all skill level in photography with basic manual camera, photoshop and Lightroom knowledge.
Workshop is not open to photographers who are currently teaching or mentoring.
* This is a styling and posing workshop. Camera & shooting basics will not be covered. Attendees must be confident how to use camera in manual mode and must have basic knowledge of Photoshop and Lightroom.
DURATION:
The workshop will run over 2 days from 9:00am to 5:00pm. Lunch, snacks and refreshments provided.

Specs:
Participants will supply their own full frame camera & lens (recommended 35mm, 50mm or 24-70mm) and have basic knowledge of Lightroom and Photoshop.

THE ART OF PHOTOGRAPHING NEWBORNS (KATH V. STYLE)
Kath will demonstrate how to create dreamy set ups as well as how to safely pose newborns in a relaxed , comfortable and in a flattering position.

THE ART OF PHOTOGRAPHING SITTERS (KATH V. STYLE)
Kath V. will demonstrate how to interact, connect & pose babies in a fun and engaging way. Along with basic baby poses (that sells and parents love), Kath will also demonstrate the fine art of capturing her signature bonnet portrait in a subtle yet captivating style that embellishes baby’s features as the hero of the photo.
3 Signature Kath V. Baby Set Ups will be covered (but not limited) to either of the following 3:

There will be 3 sitter models on the day.
EDITING
Now it’s time to switch focus and watch your creations come to life. Kath will demonstrate her unique editing techniques that perfect images into sophisticated finished products using Lightroom and Photoshop. Kath will show you how to develop your own Lightroom preset to speed up your editing workflow. Kath will edit 1 newborn image and 1 sitter image from Raw file to fine art portraiture.
Branding, Business & Marketing
The remainder of the afternoon will take attention off the spotlight and into the nitty gritty of running a successful photography business. It is one thing to take great images and another to create a thriving business; an area that Kath sees many talented photographers fall short. Kath will outline the key marketing, sales and business strategies that she has used to grow the business year after year. Most crucial to Kath success is her ability to sell a session and secure repeat and referral business. Pricing and products will also be covered intensively.
